Wheel mobility scooters are tough and stable. They come in different sizes and functions, like the bariatric mobility scooter, the folding travel scooter, and the full-size mobility scooter etc.

Some of their distinguishing features are that they come with, amongst others, a captain’s chair, flat-free tires, rear view mirrors, a built-in basket, anti-tip wheels and adjustable steering tillers. Many have front and rear suspension for a smoother ride.  Though they are slightly less maneuverable than the 3-wheel versions, the turning radius allows for enough turning space to be used indoors.
