AL580XL Power Wheelchair Lift by Harmar
The AL580XL by Harmar is a bit larger to accommodate power wheelchairs with larger wheels. It is an license plate mount that features a padded arm to secure your power chair while you are transporting it. It also includes a manual crank backup & license plate mount. Another great benefit is that your power wheelchair does not require any modifications before placing it onto the lift.
Additionally, the lift folds up automatically when its not in use. This lift was designed to be used with Mid-wheel Power Chairs that have 14" drive wheels and vehicles that have a Class III hitch size. there is also no need to use straps or tie-downs as the padded arm secures the unit in place.
This lift has a low profile on the back your vehicle, so it does not interfere with your rear view. It also does not take up much room and is one of the more compact and lightweight lifts available on the market today.
This lift does not sacrifice any features despite being compact in size. This lift will work efficiently on a mid-wheel drive chair without making any adjustments to the chair and you can feel confident that your chair is securely attached to the vehicle.
WHEN ORDERING THIS LIFT
If you order this Harmar lift and choose professional installation you must choose the battery pack option. Even if you do not choose the professional installation, we still recommend selecting the battery pack option. The hardwire kit allows you to wire the power source from the car's battery to the lift, but it can be difficult to install if you are not mechanically inclined. The battery pack allows you to install the lift with an external battery system which requires frequent recharging.

Please be aware many states require you to display your license plate on the outside of your lift. It may be required in the following states: CA, AZ, NV, CO, UT, ND, SD, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, HI, AK, FL, TX, & AL. It might be required in other states as well and it’s your responsibility to understand your state’s regulations.

Warranty Information for the AL580XL Power Wheelchair Lift
HARMAR VEHICLE LIFT WARRANTY
Harmar Mobility warrants its lift products against defects in material, mechanical and electrical components (parts), excluding labor cost, batteries, paint and covers, for a period of three (3) years from date of retail purchase, provided that the products have been installed, maintained and operated properly. This warranty does not cover defects in vehicles on which Harmar products are installed or defects in Harmar products caused by defects in any part of the vehicle upon which the product is installed. This warranty does not cover maintenance or adjustments. Harmar will not be charged for labor, consequential damage or repair expenses. Harmar will not, under any circumstances, be liable for the loss of the use of its products or loss of time. This warranty becomes null and void if the product has been lost, damaged by accident, over-stressed, misused and/ or neglected, or if the product has been modified in any way. Defective parts must be returned, prepaid, to Harmar at the address listed above, for inspection prior to credit, repair or replacement, at Harmar’s option. Harmar’s sole obligation and the exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to such credit, repair or replacement.
This Express Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties or conditions, including all implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and there are no warranties that extend beyond the description of the limited warranty described herein. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.
