The Gemini P301 by Merits Health is a powerful rear wheel drive electric powerchair with a long battery range and high weight capacity. It is classed as a high performing powerchair and can include an elevating seat if you choose to do so.
When elevated the Geminin P301 can go up an additional 10-inches. If you choose to elevate the chair, the weight capacity will reduce by 100 pounds. The seat size is 22x22-inches, and it can swivel to the side, as well as fold and tilt back. It is quite rare to have a swivel seat on a powerchair with this high of a weight capacity. The armrests and footplate can flip up and are height and angle adjustable.
The P301 runs off two 50Ah batteries. Depending on how heavy the user is can extend or reduce the maximum operating range of the batteries. Charging is as easy as plugging into the joystick. Once charged the charger will switch off automatically. It is also fitted with a unique suspension system as well as a sophisticated controller.
The P301 has a weight capacity of 450 pounds, a maximum operating range of 20 miles, a top speed of 5 mph, a turning radius of 21-inches and ground clearance of 4 inches.
