1 yr later, Still Maximum Freedom

I had the scooter for a little over a yr now. Have rode it a total of 3163 kilometers or 1965 miles as of today. I did have to downgrade my 5 ( 4.7) star rating to a 4 and I'll explain why. Problems that came up. Left front wheel fell off while riding on side of street. I know these things happen but trying to find replacement parts was a nightmare. I was really fortunate to find the missing bearings and spacers on the side of the street. Once I got the wheels off, I noticed that the wheels were put together very poorly. It had different kinds of spacing washers between wheel hub and end bolt. Closer inspection shows the wheels are suppose to be attached using crown nuts with a cotter pin. Wasn't that hard to fix it so it wouldn't happen again. The front brakes are way out of adjustment. Once you apply pressure to the front brakes, they do not engage at same time causing your wheels to rock back and forth. This problem was noticed about 3 months in. The steering linkage was also loose but in all honesty, that could be a result of everyday use. Since I ride it so much, I had a front shock break on me. That's not a complain about the scooter but a result of me riding it roughly. It was a pain trying to find replacement shocks. There is no manual with part numbers or any part supplier that I could find. I did find some that did fit off an ATV parts web sight. Sorry, already deleted that info on where I got them. I have mentioned alot of bad things with my scooter since I got it but 1 thing won't change. I STILL highly recommend purchasing one. The issues discussed are STILL insignificant when compared to the amount of freedom you get when compared to a typical scooter. Now the good stuff! 1965 miles later and I am still on the original batteries. All the electrical components, lights, turn signal, break lights digital display screen, etc still work fantastic. The motor that drives it down the road has not lost any of its get up and go. Keep in mind that I ride it a little rough and I weigh 294 pounds. Two thumbs up on performance. One other good issue that I deal with is constantly talking about it to the ton of people that stop me and want to know where I got it. I tell them electricwheelchairsusa.com. I tell people the same thing everytime. " If you have to be disabled, might as well be disabled with style! " Now, don't be stealing my line, make up you own. Lol But seriously, go on and get one for yourself and you'll see what I mean!

Maximum Freedom

Waited forever for scooter to arrive. Definitely worth the wait. Good decision choosing this scooter over the tradition models that only go 1/3rd the speed and go about 1/3rd the distance on a charge. I gave it 5 stars but in reality would only give it 4.7 stars. Just a few minor inconveniences. Did not come with a owners manual. It did come with a printed off version of a owners manual but the information in it is incomplete. Papers it comes with does not tell you how key fob works, nor does it tell you how to change display from KPH to MPH. The printed off manual doesn't even show the correct digital display. Would like to have a actual owners manual from the manufacture. Don't get me wrong, those issues are inconsequential when compaired to how well it performs. Before I had the scooter, I was stuck at home. Now, I feel I have my freedom back.

This Thing Is Awesome!

This is so fun to ride. I always take it for a ride in our community and people always stop and ask where i got it. It can get up there in speed too. Electric Wheelchairs USA has been awesome to work with as well. They are all so nice and polite!
